Workshop Description: In this week's Saturday Sessions, we will look at ways to develop solos derived from vocal tunes. This will be an all-instrument workshop, as these ideas can be applied to any instrument. We will be looking at dissecting vocal melodies to simple phrases as a basic formula to get started. Classic vocal renditions and Instrumental solos will be covered. If you are a player who is looking at connecting more to the songs you are playing and improvising on, this is a great workshop for you.
