Saint Anselm Parish invites the community to Songs of the Soul, a moving concert of sacred music that explores the human spiritual journey from suffering to hope and transformation. Featuring masterpieces by Dietrich Buxtehude and his Italian contemporaries, this concert will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the acoustically stunning Saint Louis Abbey Church.
The performance will feature the St. Cecilia Ensemble, led by Dr. Andrzej Zahorsky, and guest artists Cecilia MeeAe Nam, a renowned soprano, and Jeffrey Noonan, a specialist in early classical guitar and lute. This afternoon promises a rich musical experience, with works that reflect the soul’s passage through sorrow toward joy. Admission is free, and donations are welcome.
