Miss Maybell & Charlie Judkins, are a one of a kind musical duo hailing from NYC who formed on a mutual love of vintage hot jazz, blues and ragtime music from the 1910's - 40's! They have been playing several of the most high end super clubs and luxury hotels in Manhattan, and also legendary bohemian haunts such as The Jalopy Theater in Brooklyn. This pair and their outstanding music has also been featured on Randy Cohen's NPR Show, "Person, Place, Thing"...

Charlie Judkins is a practitioner of Ragtime, Traditional Jazz and Blues piano, as well as a lifelong Brooklyn native. He began playing piano in 1997 at age six. In 2007, he was introduced to the music of Jelly Roll Morton and immediately began studying traditional ragtime and blues piano. Shortly thereafter he came under the informal tutelage of several highly-regarded pianists including Terry Waldo, Mike Lipskin, Ehud Asherie and the late George Mesterhauze.

His piano playing has been in high demand at various public and private events in the New York City area since debuting as a professional pianist at Greenpoint's now defunct Manhattan Inn in the Summer of 2010. He has also entertained at clubs such as The Dead Rabbit, The Jalopy Tavern and The Astor Room. He also works as a silent film accompanist at various theaters in the New York area, and recently began providing piano scores for silent animation archivist Tom Stathes's series of Blu-Ray releases.

Miss Maybell is a one of a kind contralto singer, musician, and band leader specializing in a classic Vintage Jazz, and Blues sound. Miss Maybell recently sang with the the phenomenal award winning jazz band Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks (who famously did the soundtrack for the HBO Series Boardwalk Empire). Miss Maybell has played shows and Festivals all around New England and in New York City and has been tremendously well received! Some venues worthy of note is the legendary venue Club Passim ( in Boston) The Press Room (in Portsmouth N.H.) , Acoustic Artisans (Portland M.E.), The Refinery Hotel (NYC) , The Flatiron Room(NYC). Miss Maybell has played shows all across New England and has been featured on several TV and Radio stations like: 100.1 Radio Woodstock , WMWV, WMPG Portland, WNHN Concord. Her music has also been featured on WMUR-TV an affiliate of ABC. Miss Maybell was also featured on Dan Aykroyd's Blues Radio Program "Blues Breaker". She was also awarded by New Hampshire Magazine “Best of N.H. 2016”, for Best Americana Music!
