St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness "Living Out Loud" Gala & Auction

Tickets are on sale NOW for St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness’ (SLOCA) annual “Living Out Loud” Gala, taking place on Saturday evening, April 8, 2017 at Forest Hills Country Club, located       at 36 Forest Club Drive in Chesterfield, Missouri. This annual fundraising event will take place from 6:00 until 10:00 pm.

SLOCA’s “Living Out Loud” Gala & Auction is dedicated to impacting ovarian cancer survivorship by promoting awareness of early warning signs, funding ovarian cancer research and supporting survivors. The event will feature a gourmet sit-down dinner, a live and silent auction with fabulous one-of-a-kind items and experiences, and an inspiring program highlighting ovarian cancer survivors and committed volunteers.

The 2017 Teal Spirit Award will be given to the Jorgensen family, the founders of the FamiliesROC benefit run for ovarian cancer. And the Volunteer Impact Award will be bestowed on Beverly Kinkade, a past President and board member of SLOCA. This year’s Keynote Speaker will be nationally known comedian Greg Warren - who has appeared on “Comedy Central Presents”, “The Late Late Show” and “The Last Comic Standing”, among others. Greg will share his personal story of his mother Colleen Kelly Warren’s battle with ovarian cancer, and will also entertain guest with a short comedy routine. 

The Emcee for the 2017 “Living Out Loud” Gala is KMOV’s “Great Day St. Louis” Co-Host Laura Hettiger, and Mark Howald will handle the Auctioneer duties for the evening’s Live Auction.
