Chuseok Korean Harvest Festival

The Gateway Korea Foundation, with support from The Regional Arts Commission invites the community to explore and celebrate the culture of Korea at its 10th annual Chuseok Korean Harvest Festival. Enjoy traditional and contemporary Korean music and dance performances featuring The Eine Ensemble from South Korea, The Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago and Chicago Korean Dance Company, as well as other local groups. Participate in Korean arts and crafts, games, and a calligraphy demonstration, while learning the Korean alphabet. Visitors can also enjoy a martial arts demonstration, K-pop dance performances, try on traditional Korean clothing called hanboks, and learn about the traditional Chuseok charye table setting. Food offerings include a kimbap making demonstration with samples, option to preorder a Korean box lunch or purchase food from a food truck at the event.
