Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day, taking place on the first Saturday of May, is an annual promotional effort by the North American comic book industry to help bring new readers into independent comic book stores. The Fantasy Shop, who has been around the St. Louis area for 39 years with their four stores in St Charles, Maplewood, South County, and Creve Coeur, have celebrated this annual event each year with outstanding volume! Each location has their own Facebook and plans for the Day. Check them out, and come out for the giveaways, geeky company, and, of course, the Free Comic Books!
