Last Call: An End of Life Festival

St. Louis, Missouri, OCT 15-16 2022 — The first annual “Death Positive” festival is a two-day family friendly event, being held on the grounds of Bellefontaine Cemetery. The brainchild of the “St. Louis Death Positive Collective”, the festival will feature a variety of speakers, artists, vendors, and food trucks! Experts will be on hand to discuss modern funerary alternatives such as aquamation and green burial. The Mourning Society of St. Louis will be doing their reenactment of Victorian funeral traditions and leading tours. Come enjoy two separate panel discussions that will tackle end of life planning as well as introduce and demystify the topic of “Death Midwifery."

*The St. Louis Death Positive Collective, established in 2019 is a group of like minded volunteers with the mission to cultivate a death positive culture in Saint Louis. Last Call: An End of Life Festival is the first major event produced by the group.
