Film Screening: Eating Up Easter

CAM hosts the screening of Eating Up Easter as part of the 28th annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival. Directed by Sergio M. Rapu, the documentary explores the costs of skyrocketing tourism, as more and more people from around the world come to Easter Island to view the iconic statues. Yet with the boom, the indigenous culture and the island’s fragile environment suffer. Shown in conjunction with Stephanie Syjuco: Rogue States.
