Ice Cream for Breakfast Weekend at The Fountain on Locust

The Fountain on Locust is celebrating one of their favorite holidays with a weekend long event!

This year, they're celebrating National Ice Cream Day with a lineup of decadent specials and drinks.

Starting at 11 am on Saturday, Feb 1, guests can order warm, homemade waffles topped with Cedar Crest Ice Cream! They will also serve a fun and nostalgic Fruit Loops Ice Cream Martini.

About National Ice Cream Day:
It all began in 1960 during a particularly cold winter in Rochester, NY. Florence Rappaport's six young children were complaining that it was too snowy and cold to do anything. Suddenly, she had the perfect idea, "Let's have ice cream for breakfast!" The Rappaports continued the tradition each year as the kids grew up.
National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is now celebrated by millions across the country on the first Saturday in February.
