Stories from the Tower featuring KDHX DJs Steve Pick, Art Dwyer, Pablo Meshugi, Ron Edwards
STORIES FROM THE TOWER
KDHX was born on October 14, 1987. The first DJs broadcast from a tiny shack at the tower site in Arnold, MO. It was isolated, cramped, uncomfortable, absurd, beautiful, magical, and glorious.
We are lucky enough to still have some of those original DJs on the air today. Join Steve Pick (Sound Salvation, Fri 7-10am), Art Dwyer (Blues in the Night, Fri 4-7pm), Pablo Meshugi (No Time to Tarry Here, Sun 2-4pm), and Ron Edwards (Nothin' but the Blues, Sun 8-10pm) at Magnolia Café and The Stage at KDHX for tales of those early days of KDHX. Featuring video interviews with other founding visionaries, archival materials, and more, followed by a Q&A.
Moderated by Allison Wilson of the Music Director's Cut and KDHX podcast The Way We Sound.
