Perennial: Virtual 3D Stained Glass Workshop - Kit Included

Please note, this two-day workshop takes place on Tuesdays, July 7 + 14 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm each day.

Participants will learn to use recycled glass, copper foil, flux and lead-free solder to sculpt their 3D object. The class will demonstrate how to safely use a glass cutter and sandpaper to create custom shapes from privacy windows, mirrors, and clear glass. These geometric vessels are a great way to showcase succulents or special trinkets! Note: This class requires hand strength and the use of a very hot tool. Patience, an eye for safety, and hand dexterity will help participants achieve their design goals.

This is a virtual class that will be conducted via Zoom. Participants will be emailed information on how to participate prior to the class. You may pickup a kit of materials on Tuesday, July 7 from 3:00 – 5:00pm, including glass, templates flux, solder, copper tape, binder clips, jump rings, a brush, sandpaper, and t-shirt rags. If you do not have soldering + glass-cutting tools, you will need to add on the refundable Tool Deposit to rent a soldering iron, glass cutter, needle-nose pliers, drywall work surface, and running pliers.

Class space is limited, and advance registration is required, so register now at: https://perennialstl.org/event/virtual-3d-stained-glass/
