Tune Class - The Reel Deal w/ Eimear Arkins

Kick off the new year with Eimear Arkins, host of the next Tune Series "The Reel Deal." Take a deep dive into how to get the bounce and swing into Irish reels. Eimear has six Irish tunes to share, along with ornamentation and bow techniques to give your fiddlin' a "reely" Irish flair. 

This is a great opportunity for folks who are looking to expand their repertoire or play in Irish sessions. All ages are welcome, and the content and pace will be suitable for intermediate to advanced players. Tunes will be taught by ear with recordings provided to help you practice as soon as the Tune Series begins. Bring your instrument and - if it helps you learn - a recording device (cellphone) or a notebook and pencil.
