Observable Readings - Christine Gosnay and Rosalie Moffett, November 4

The Observable Reading Series on November 4 will feature Christine Gosnay and Rosalie Moffett. Brought to you by St. Louis Poetry Center, the Observable Series welcomes poets to Dressel’s Public House (CWE). Reading begins at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs loft of the restaurant. The event is free, with a $5 suggested donation at the door. 

CHRISTINE GOSNAY's first book, Even Years (Kent State University Press, 2017), won the Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Prize. Her work has appeared recently in POETRY, Image Journal, Ecotone, Bennington Review, The Missouri Review, The Poetry Review, and Third Coast Magazine, and has been featured on Poetry Daily and Verse Daily. Her chapbook, The Wanderer, is the 2019 title in Beloit Poetry Journal's Chad Walsh Chapbook series. 

ROSALIE MOFFETT is the author of Nervous System (Ecco/Harper Collins), winner of the National Poetry Series, and June in Eden (Ohio State University Press). She has been awarded the "Discovery"/Boston Review prize, a Wallace Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University, and scholarships from the Tin House and Bread Loaf writing workshops. Her poems and essays have appeared in Tin House, The Believer, FIELD, Narrative, Kenyon Review, Agni, and Ploughshares, as well as in the anthology "Gathered: Contemporary Quaker Poets." She is an assistant professor of poetry at the University of Southern Indiana.
