River Styx Reading Series

River Styx is proud to host our annual River Styx Reading Series.

Readings are held on the third Monday of each month. Entry is $5 for general admission and $4 for students and seniors. Notice the time change, reading series events now start at 7p.m. instead of 7:30p.m.

Our February readers are Peter Coviello, Kimberly Blaeser, and Andrea Scarpino!

Peter Coviello’s is the author of "Long Players," "Tomorrow’s Parties: Sex and the Untimely in Nineteenth-Century America," and "Intimacy in America: Dreams of Affiliation in Antebellum Literature."

Kimberly Blaeser was the 2015-16 Wisconsin Poet Laureate. She is the author of three books of poetry: "Trailing You," winner of the first book award from the Native Writers’ Circle of the Americas; "Absentee Indians and Other Poems," and "Apprenticed to Justice."

Andrea Scarpino is the author of the poetry collections "Once Upon Wing Lake," "What the Willow Said as it Fell," "The Grove Behind," and "Once, Then." She is published in numerous journals including "The Cincinnati Review," "Los Angeles Review," and "Prairie Schooner."
