Terence Blanchard

Oscar nominee and six-time Grammy-winner trumpeter/composer Terence Blanchard celebrates the brilliance of jazz legend Wayne Shorter with the acclaimed Absence, based on his album of the same name. He is joined by his young band of musical pioneers, the The E-Collective, and the double Grammy-winning Turtle Island String Quartet, who since their inception in 1985, have been a singular force in the creation of bold, new trends in chamber music for strings.
