Drummers ONLY 2019
Drummers Only is a yearly percussion and drum based installation that features more than 20 performers in one night. All players set up simultaneously and perform percussion-based pieces in rapid-succession throughout the building. Artists share a vast range of styles, disciplines and skill levels. Think of it as a LIVE drumming installation. Doors at 8, music at 8:30.
Admission is $10 with all proceeds going to benefit Fellowship STL, a new arts and performance space based in the Cherokee Street neighborhood at 3453 South Jefferson - formerly known as Treffpunkt. More about Fellowship STL:
Fellowship STL is a converted church on the South side of St. Louis that is being run by community member Darian Wigfall, for the community of the Cherokee Street District.
The vision for Fellowship STL is to be a community space centered around art and culture. It’s available for rentals and meetings to everyone.
Fellowship STL is still much like the church where everyone should feel welcome to come and be themselves.
